Easy way for the protection of Cows- Use of “Navgraha Dhoop”

Everybody wants peace and happiness. Everybody who believes in Ahimsa wants cows to be protected. On 1^st March 2001 a very easy way of protecting cows “Rashtriya Gawsampada Sammelan” was demonstrated in Kolkata. It seems that this will make the protection of cows easy. At the same time this will give many village dwellers employment. It can also solve poverty and unemployment to an extent.

A person keeping cows will get Rs 5/- per kilogram of cow dung.

On an average a cow produces 12 kilo of dung in a day. So the person keeping cow will get Rs 60/- per day just from cow’s dung.

On an average a cows daily expense is around Rs 20/- to 30/-, means every cow will daily give its owner around Rs 30/- to 40/-, just by the use of cow dung.

If this happens then will any cow owner would want sell its cow? Instead they will try to keep more and more cows. If cows won’t be sold to butchers and if a cow owner wants to keep more and more cows then cows will be protected naturally.

Cow dung in itself is a product which cannot be compared to anything. Our ancestors are associated with cows and its products. Every family used to have many cows. So, they were more happy and prosperous and at the same time they were able to give more donations. Nowadays, our association with cows is limited to just the festivals of Holi and Diwali. Few days before Holi dung cakes are made and on the day of Holi it is burnt with Holika which makes environment clean. In the same way on the day of Diwali we smear silver coins with cow’s dung, which is then used for worshipping “Maa Lakshmi”. Lucky are those household where on the day of Dusshera and Gobardhan cow’s dung are used.
